Get Loud for Rare Disease Day 2021 - Sunday Feb 28th

The CF Get Loud community is proud to be a part of the rare disease community. This year, we are officially supporting Rare Disease Day 2021.

We believe strongly in elevating the rare voice. We strive to educate the general public and decision-makers about what it is like to live with a rare disease and what our country can do to better support us. At the present time, Canada is the ONLY developed country in the world without a Rare Disease Strategy.

We invite YOU to get involved!

1.) CALLING ALL KIDS (and their families)! We want YOU to show your support by using PAINT. Colourful hand painting and face printing have been a long-time symbol for the rare disease community.

Create a painted hard art using our official ‘Share Your Colours’ Art Page

(ART TIPS: choose whatever colours you’d like. Don’t worry if you don’t have access to a colour printer. If you don’t have access to a printer at the moment, just share our hand prints or colourful hands! Have fun!)

Share the page with your community, tag @cfgetloud and @rarediseaseday in your posts with the hashtags; #RareDiseaseDay and #CFGETLOUD

2.) Learn more about Rare Diseases in Canada. We will be flooding our social media with facts about being rare and action items on how YOU can make a difference for people living with rare diseases.

3.) We will be shining a spotlight other Rare Disease groups that are making wave in Canada. Stay in the loop and make sure you are following us on all social channels to learn more.
